Do you expect Ford to always supply the color of your choice
regardless of what that might be?  If you do proceed to make this
argument to the developers or legacy list, please present it in
terms of more than your own best interest.  There are reasons to
make the transition transparent, but your color preference probably
isn't the most compelling one.

It shouldn't come as a surprise.

And if it does, it would be reasonable to assume that the legacy
support group will make the effort to back-port the fix.
