It has to do with the fact that usb_buffer_alloc function is no longer present in the kernel sources of the linux version you are compiling for. Nor is it present in my kernel source 2.6.35-git1 It was present in kernel-2.6.32.16-150.fc12.src/linux-2.6.32/drivers/usb/core/usb.c and exported via header file kernel-2.6.32.16-150.fc12.src/linux-2.6.32/include/linux/usb.h This function was taken out sometime kernel 2.6.32.16-150 This is the problem with ralinktech. They do not keep up with linux kernel changes. They think one hat fits all is the way to go.
