Besides, the first thing one reads after getting to the "Activities" tab is: "Fedora spins are alternate versions of Fedora, tailored for various types of users via hand-picked application sets and other customizations." So, if the tab is "Spins" and you don't know what "spin" is, it is defined for you as soon as you get there. I see no need to create a different term to mean the same thing under the guise of leading you to something.
