Hi Aaron,

It depends a bit on if it is XP Home or Pro, and what level SP it is on,
nice to know there is no difference!

In any case :-
    Go to My computer.
    Select the Folder to Share
    Right click
    Select Sharing and Security

You should then see a Sharing tab with two panes, the top is LOCAL SHARING,
not what you want.  The bottom one is Network sharing, this is the one.

If sharing has not been enabled before you will be invited to run the
Sharing wizard, this will start the firewall, which may stop sharing from
external sources, uses services to disable it, or don't use the wizard, I
leave this up to you.
