Your kernel boots in a matter of seconds. The real time waster is that piece of hardware you call a hard disk drive. All of the services started up cause some heavy disk I/O that no rotating drive can handle very well. The solution? Buy an SSD. Sincerely, A Fedora user who boots in less than 8 seconds. -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
