Printing video labels was always a major pain, involving test prints and lost of wasted paper, and expensive sticky labels. Eventually I gave up and went back to a manual typewriter. Then when DVDs came out, clients all got /the white album/, because printing on a disc was a nightmare I didn't even want to start. And printing to a page still has that problem, that although I can specify absolute parameters in my programs, the printer driver has other ideas. Such as scaling down my A4 content to within the printing boundaries of the page, even though my content already was within the printing boundaries. And getting offsets wrong. How hard is it to print to a LaserJet 4? The printer's ancient, there can't be much that's not known about it by now.
