you might try...
stopping smb/nmb service
removing (or just moving) /var/lib/samba/private/passdb.tdb
and /var/lib/samba/private/secrets.tdb and restarting smb/nmb,
recreating the user barbara and see what happens
I tried wiping all tdb files under /var/lib/samba, but when I create
a user I get the same errors.
one thing comes to my mind: could my problems be related to selinux?
I disabled selinux putting it in permissive mode, do you think it
could be of any help if I boot with selinux=0?
