Network Mangler blows mine up, so I don't have it running. Are you out
in the country?? If so, you may have to do what I do and limit your
connection speed to 28.8. using s32=98 <---little 's' ...in your init
string. Without it, I can't get connected hardly at all. Mikkel is also
right, check /etc/resolv.conf after you connect, to see what's there.
Since I use KDE I use KPPP to handle my modem, instead of Network
Mangler. Works like a charm and is easy to play with. You might also
consider doing a google on modem init strings to make sure you have the
best init string possible. One bad instruction set and a modem is just
about toast. My two-cents, Ric
