Why didn't you fill the gaps that you seem to feel were real?
I'm in the US and thus under the same constraints that the fedora
project claims prevent them from mentioning anything that might help
circumvent patent or dmca laws. And I don't have a place to put the
instructions on how to use livna to install the Nvidia driver that would
be any easier for someone to find than livna itself. The fedora project
omits that as a matter of policy.
Some people curse darkness and some light candles...just sayin'
There's not much you can do about other people's policies. It's sort of
like watching a train wreck, though. What is happening to Karl (and
probably lots of other people who aren't as persistent and don't get as
far as this mail list) is a result of a policy that does not put
users/usability first.
