With all due respect, was your message really necessary to respond to the above single line?
Oh Yea. Please. Do it. If you try it and look how you install Ubuntu can you please mail back how different it is? Oh really. A live CD with a installer? Wow. The same way you can install fedora. Perhabs you get your act together and think about such answers again.
Perhaps ... Well there are differences. Ubuntu to my understanding can upgrade via single LiveCD, Fedora cannot (as stated in the FAQ). Ubuntu carries 700MB CD ISO images for x86-64, Fedora does not. (Not to forget that the Fedora Live "Images" have higher system requirements compared to Ubuntu Live CD.) Hence for someone completely inflexible or restricted to just a CD-ROM/writer, Fedora has some limitations.
There where even hints on this list how you can make your own cd set from this dvd. So download the dvd iso and follow some of the fantastic suggestions allready made on this list.
Yes he should have looked in the archives of this mailing list before posting, however you could have simply stated that in a single line as well. -Mauriat
