I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do, but I have a Linksys WRT54GL (running Linux dd-wrt) connected by ethernet to my desktop (which has a separate ADSL connection) and also to another machine by ethernet, as well as to various laptops by WiFi. In other words, the WRT54GL has 4 ethernet connections, and also acts as a WiFi access point. It works pretty well. -- Timothy Murphy e-mail (<80k only): tim /at/ birdsnest.maths.tcd.ie tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland
