Rahul has already given you a detailed answer. Generally speaking, when
I run into a similar situation I fire up the Gnome desktop, make sure
the application works there, go back to the KDE desktop and try it under
KDE. It usually become apparent after doing that bit of detective work.
I want to thank you all for your answers. I expected it to be easy but
I just wanted to make sure before making the move. I have to keep the
kids and my wife happy at home. :)
