You need to visit klaptop's Configure menu and select the Enable
Susupend (and/or Hibernate) on the ACPI Config tab.  (Right click the
battery monitor icon.)

I quit using my own custom suspend scripts long ago with FC5.  KDE has
been able to handle it all since FC5.
