I have set up my KVM between 2 machine, I find it works better if I stop
kudzu probing at boot. It seems to switch away from the booting machine
a couple of times during boot, when starting udev etc. but then when I
switch it back it is ok.

I have a bluetooth keyboard & mouse which it sometimes looses during
boot, but I switch to the other machine so they reconnect and it is ok
again.
