Ok. I'm so close to what I want I can almost taste it. I'm on a cablemodem via RCN. They write my resolv.conf file with search cable.rcn.com because of dhcp/dhclient. I want to change something so that when the resolv.conf file is written by RCN, I end up with search syslang.net instead. Anyone know how to do this? TIA -- Time flies like the wind.
