Anyone know how to do this? Modify your DHCP client script to not ask for such details, and put in static entries yourself for the search and name server entries. I don't have cable, but with dial-up there's a similar thing with the wvdial.conf file. Mine's set to NOT rewrite my DNS servers (the resolv.conf file). Research into which scripts are used to make your connection. -- Don't send private replies to my address, the mailbox is ignored. I read messages from the public lists.
