I see many people discussing stuff in good faith that you are complaining about. "Get a threaded mailreader" or one with keyword search capability. > That being said, I do request that list members please refrain from Warren, you several times posted here suggesting the list was dead and hinting we all go to Fedoraforum. I took your first advice at face value and made 2000+ mainly on-topic posts there. The list went on, I preferred it and came back. I ignored your subsequent advice to the same end. Inbetween issues where there help is possible, it builds community (in the little c sense) to have this generally interesting examination of issues around Fedora usage, especially when there are these meta issues like Mandriva migrations going on. Using mailreader search or archive keyword search means it does not impact list usefulness for people with specific problems (except, evidently, Larry). Redhat run a great list here. Come FC5 relase, I predict you will see a natural falloff in meaning of life meditations. (We do not see threads about American politics, favourite anime characters, etc, it is almost all connected to Fedora one way or another). If you stifle discussion in the meanwhile, you will curdle the little-c community around Fedora to no benefit (unless your problem is you need a newsreader upgrade or "retention" downgrade) -Andy
