Updating module-init-tools did zilch for me. Older S3 chipset, still
no boot time VGA display. It must be disabled somewhere in the init
script. I've checked services, permissions, ownership and need to
know just what the process is named so I can go through the man and
info pages to find an answer on my own. Raul! What is it called?
Thanx, Ric
