I guess I can add my psychotic two cents. I understood Fedora to be 
seriously beta, testing software, which I was encouraged to use, and 
potientially break on the rack of weird hardware or hard usage, in return 
for letting people know about the experience. Tossing FC3 with FC5r2 may 
or may not fit my particular situation at this particular time, but with 
the Legacy project I find it hard to to object. There are, after all, 
fairly viable options available.

Obviously, if Fedora (either the software or the community) causes you 
trouble, pick a different situation, or seek to set yourself up in a 
leadership position of the community.

Of course, the fact that there is discussion at all does rather indicate 
that this _is_ basically a community...
