Hello:

I am running FC-4, and I have been trying to configure my wireless
connection. Apparently Everything is all right:

# Ifconfig

lo        Link encap:Local Loopback
          inet addr:127.0.0.1  Mask:255.0.0.0
          inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host
          UP LOOPBACK RUNNING  MTU:16436  Metric:1
          RX packets:3128 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:3128 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
          RX bytes:3770918 (3.5 MiB)  TX bytes:3770918 (3.5 MiB)

ppp0      Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol
          inet addr:148.221.119.60  P-t-P:148.235.20.172

          collisions:0 txqueuelen:3
          RX bytes:189816 (185.3 KiB)  TX bytes:43672 (42.6 KiB)

wlan0     Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:06:25:48:3C:17
          inet6 addr: fe80::206:25ff:fe48:3c17/64 Scope:Link
          UP BROADCAST RUNNING  MTU:1500  Metric:1
          RX packets:2089 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:14 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
-------

But when I try to connect, I get:

[root@pauli gcovar]# ifup wlan0
Error for wireless request "Set Bit Rate" (8B20) :
    SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument.

Determining IP information for wlan0... failed.

----------------------

Does anyone know what this error is and how to correct it? Any feedback
will be appreciated.

Teilhard.
