You need to find out what chip you are using according to
this web site and build the driver:

http://www.scyld.com/ethercard_drivers.html

I have a problem chip on one my computers and I use
a network card that is compatible with the tulip driver
that I purchased off ebay for $5.

needs to tell me how to be penguin.
