It does have a modem, a nic port and built in centrino wireless. I have never attempted to use the modem. The nic port worked upon install of FC3 and once I installed the ipw2200 drivers the wireless network worked as well. I did take a look at the hardware browser and the modem does not show up. Not a good sign for the modem I expect.
