Everytime I update my Linux as a gnome user I tend to whack all the
.gnome* and .gconf* dirs and start my gnome-settings from scratch
which yes I know don't throw anything at me is a pain.

Be sure PLEASE to check around those dirs and if you are one of the
few people in the universe that uses nautilus-scripts like I do
remember to back them up.

There was this time I do not like to talk about where I did not and
had to go and redo all my naut scripts and I was not a happy man. The
SCP to Location scripts for example are a blessing to a sysadmin like
myself.
