Speaking of RHEL and clones, does anyone understand the
symlink-to-symlink scheme is supposed to work for programs
that have alternatives?  For example, is there a canned way
to install the Sun JVM and get the right thing in /usr/bin/java
and /usr/bin/javac?  It looks like there is some kind of
plan for this but I haven't found any documentation.
