Thanks Doug. I tried to install FC2 from the download iso and trashed my machine about a month ago. I tried the fixes posted and never recovered. I ended up re-installing Win2k and starting over. Probably my inexperience that helped. So this should not have been a problem for the past 5 months. May I also add that fixe's have been very weel documented for even longer.
