I got into a briar patch with FC2 and messed up my machine big time.
Before I try this again with FC3 final I thought I'd ask.

As far as I am aware, this was fixed several weeks after FC2 was
released, and updated boot.iso's were released to be used as well.
So this should not have been a problem for the past 5 months.
May I also add that fixe's have been very weel documented for even longer.
