I filed it with Bugzilla https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=122522 which also includes the solution (change a parameter in the kernel source and recompile the kernel). The big difference is, that I had those problems when running FC1 with a 2.4.22 kernel and Pete Zaitcev added a comment to the bug report, that FC2 is going to change the necessary parameters, when it detects a Genesys Chipset.
