Is there a simple mkbootcd program that works exactly like mkbootdisk ? I googled for this, and there seem a number of scripts called mkbootcd , but it wasn't clear at a quick glance if they worked in the same way as mkbootdisk. Incidentally, if the kernel is too large now to fit on a floppy - and most computers now don't have a floppy drive anyway - wouldn't it make sense to have mkbootcd as part of the standard distributions? -- Timothy Murphy e-mail (<80k only): tim /at/ birdsnest.maths.tcd.ie tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland
