Please help,

Downloaded FEDORA and burned it on 3 CD, but now how do I prepare this
CD's for Installation, they seem to be RAR instead of ZIP compressed, am lost
but I want to play with Linux so bad.

I suppose it is FC2, so the discs (why just three - but you might survive it with three) should have the name FC2-i386-disc1.iso etc. and you have burnt the with the "iso"-function (whatever it is called in Nero or so under Windows) and not just copied it.

Change your bootorder in the BIOS so that you can boot from the CD-ROM, consider that you need free space on your harddisk (really free, at least one free partition, Fedora will do the rest for you if you want), put Disc1 into your CD-ROM, reboot and off you go. The bootroutine "Anaconda" will tell you the rest. Just take care: if you intend to run a dual-boot, do not have the windows-partitions erased!

I will accept any suggestion send to me at demine1@xxxxxxx <mailto:demine1@xxxxxxx> or posted.
