Hi i am also a newbie in Linux. By the way, did you burn the CD from the ISO images? I guess you bunrned the CD correctly. To burn the CDs for installing Linux, you need to choose the option in your CD burner that tells you to burn from ISO images. If it is, then all you need is to put the DISK-1 in the CDROM and then reboot the PC to the CDROM. You may need to chage the CMOS setup to boot from the CDROM. The installation process will be self explanatory. ----- Original Message ----- From: DAYE EMINE <demine1@xxxxxxx> Date: Sun, 8 Aug 2004 17:38:07 -0700 Subject: New Fedora Installation To: fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx Please help, Just bought an ASUS AN78X-E motherboard NEW: ATI Radeon 9200 AGP video card NEW: Maxtor 40GB AT IDE-Hard_drive NEW: Internal PCI V92/56Kbps Voice Modem I want Linux only on this PC and to be able to connect to my ISP someday.
