Yes Rick's faq is a great place to start if you are looking for a SATA controller. However the Promise FastTrak 133, and HighPoint 372 are PATA.

The Promise FastTrak will work fine as an IDE controller. Attempting to use the driver based raid features can only end badly. Read the ataraid list archives for details. The HPT 372 is said to be much the same, but I'd not used it much.
