Any ideas how to get the service back? yum on atrpms has not its own service, but was added to a now common service for apt and yum called check4updates. You can customize it (choose which, both or none resolvers) from /etc/sysconfig/check4updates. The default operation uses both apt and yum to notify you of possible updates. -- Axel.Thimm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
