Yes, you need:

mailbox_command = /usr/bin/procmail

.. in /etc/postfix/main.cf to go with:

MAILDIR=$HOME/Maildir
DEFAULT=$MAILDIR/

.. in /etc/procmailrc

Then you have a nice postfix -> procmail -> dovecot system.
