Has anyone done anywork with the ATI radeon card and drivers? I cannot get my to work correctly. The prebuild "radeon" driver supplied with XFREE hangs the machine so I have to use the ATI drivers and I cannot get OPENGL anything to work. Too bad it's an ATI RADEON 9600 with AMD XP 2500. Any input would be appreciated. file:///home/ziggy/ati_install.txt

The two critical parameters are the vertical refresh rate, which is the rate at which the the whole screen is refreshed, and most importantly the horizontal sync rate, which is the rate at which scanlines are displayed. The valid range for horizontal sync and vertical sync should be documented in the manual of your monitor.
