The error message you're seeing usually is an indicator of trying to use an USB storage device whose vendor ID and product ID are not known to the kernel. Uhmmm... This is rather curious. What kernel version are you running? I've been looking at 2.6.0 kernel sources and there exists an entry for your memory stick, so I guess you're probably running a 2.4 kernel. Could you please tell me exactly what kernel it is? Is it a Fedora stock kernel or a self-compiled one? I need to have a look at the kernel sources for the kernel you're running to see if an entry exists for your memory stick.
