Firewall where only port 80 is open. I tried this thing: http://www.polarhome.com/cgi-bin/chat/irc.cgi but it looks like it connects to the wrong port (8888 vs 6667?), or something. I see that some Windows *shudder* client supposedly supports thru-firewill connections, and additionally some instructions about port-forwarding off an outside machine, but I'm kinda stuck for the moment. Okay, tried the patch. I actually made it through one full kernel compile without going bang, but did crap out on the second iteration (after a 'make clean'). I'll post the config, too, just so there's a clear understanding of where we are. -- Robert Crocombe [email protected]/1061[CPU#3]: BUG in debug_rt_mutex_unlock at kernel/rtmutex-debug.c:471 Call Trace: <ffffffff802616af>{_raw_spin_lock_irqsave+29} <ffffffff80280b6f>{__WARN_ON+100} <ffffffff80280b2a>{__WARN_ON+31} <ffffffff80295ef9>{debug_rt_mutex_unlock+199} <ffffffff80260920>{rt_lock_slowunlock+25} <ffffffff80261451>{__lock_text_start+9} <ffffffff8020a188>{kmem_cache_alloc+202} <ffffffff8029f849>{mempool_alloc_slab+17} <ffffffff802222f4>{mempool_alloc+75} <ffffffff80261ac8>{_raw_spin_unlock+46} <ffffffff80260948>{rt_lock_slowunlock+65} <ffffffff80219d1a>{bio_alloc_bioset+35} <ffffffff802b5654>{bio_clone+29} <ffffffff803a581f>{clone_bio+51} <ffffffff803a64d7>{__split_bio+399} <ffffffff803a6cc8>{dm_request+453} <ffffffff8021b42a>{generic_make_request+375} <ffffffff80232b94>{submit_bio+192} <ffffffff80219c68>{submit_bh+262} <ffffffff802166da>{ll_rw_block+161} <ffffffff802ec25f>{journal_commit_transaction+990} <ffffffff80261ac8>{_raw_spin_unlock+46} <ffffffff80260948>{rt_lock_slowunlock+65} <ffffffff8028f22b>{autoremove_wake_function+0} <ffffffff8024b4c7>{try_to_del_timer_sync+85} <ffffffff802f0679>{kjournald+199} <ffffffff8028f22b>{autoremove_wake_function+0} <ffffffff802f05b2>{kjournald+0} <ffffffff8028f027>{keventd_create_kthread+0} <ffffffff802321b7>{kthread+219} <ffffffff802268f9>{schedule_tail+185} <ffffffff8025d31e>{child_rip+8} <ffffffff8028f027>{keventd_create_kthread+0} <ffffffff802320dc>{kthread+0} <ffffffff8025d316>{child_rip+0} --------------------------- | preempt count: 00000002 ] | 2-level deep critical section nesting: ---------------------------------------- ..
