CTRL+AlT+F2 will not work well if you are not completelty logged in. As the system boots when you get to the display that has the list of kernels, edit the line putting 3 at the end of the line and then boot. That will take you into init level 3. The you can fix the machine. In /etc/grub.conf which you can access as root be sure #hidemenu is commented out by the W# character and timeout=5 for example. -- ======================================================================= Life is like an onion: you peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep. -- Carl Sandburg ======================================================================= Aaron Konstam telephone: (210) 656-0355 e-mail: akonstam@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines
