yum update failure

you have a plugin called priorities, which is fine.
I assume it is enabled, which is fine too:
# cat /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/priorities.conf
enabled = 1

Now we have to check if that priority indicator is enabled in your repos.
Please get me output of:
# grep -i priority /etc/yum.repos.d/*
