You should probably do this instead:

title Fedora x86_64
   rootnoverify (hd0,7)
   chainloader +1

That will transfer the boot process from the current grub
to the grub for the 64 bit fedora in the new partition.

I've got my multi-boot system setup with a stand alone
grub that does nothing but chainload my other bootable
kernels :-).
