I changed the entry for the share in the client's fstab file to: 192.168.1.14:/home/magnusg/Music /home/magnusg/Music nfs rw,auto,hard,intr,bg,nfsvers=3 0 0 and everything works fine -- i.e. I can run NFS on an FC13 server and access the share on an FC13 client. My understanding is that I've forced the client to use NFSv3, right? So, assuming Fedora continue to use NSFv4 for awhile, the long-term problem of how settings on the client differ for NSFv4 with respect to earlier versions. However -- thank you!
