The same happens to me.
I didn't try removing the battery.
I resolve it by refreshing the browser every time. But I still can't go into the full screen mode.

at mlb.com. Everything was fine until I clicked full screen. In spite
of a complete hard lock-up, the sound kept playing. I have never seen
anything like that before. Moreover, the only way I could resolve the
issue was to remove the battery.
