I know it might be silly, but also you could try:

 - burn another media
 - download from a different mirror

I did not have any trouble upgrading as well!

As I said, it passed the sha256sum test and the install mediacheck test.
Also, it was downloaded via the BT tracker posted on the Fedora page,
meaning the download itself was checked as it was happening.
