evolution does not know about any root certificate?

Hi,

my evolution on fc11 (evolution-2.26.3-1.fc11.i586) fails to verify
valid S/MIME signed emails. Emails were signed by Thawte and Verisign
issued certificates. (Thunderbird recognizes them as valid.)
It seams evolution does not have any root CA installed.
Is this an expected behaviour for evolution or is something wrong with
my installation, maybe missing a particular package?

ca-certificates-2008-8.noarch is installed.

regards,
Christoph
