lol. being that you had not mentioned doing any...

anyway, i would give frank m's 'old fashion way' a try, because i recall
a few other post where users were having problems with 'old' add-ons not
working with new releases until they change 'maxversion' and they had
satisfactory results.

add-on authors will set 'maxversion' so that users will not have unknown
problems occur. ymmv, but it is worth trying.
