My asound.conf is as follows, and I have no .asoundrc file:

#

@hooks [
	{
		func load
		files [
			"/etc/alsa/pulse-default.conf"
		]
		errors false
	}
]
pcm.pulse {
    type pulse
}
ctl.pulse {
    type pulse
}

Does this look correct?
