This hass been going on for so damned long and I just want it to stop. Is it
alsa, is it pulsaudio?
As I understand it (probably not at all :-) it is sorta both.
ALSA is being asked to do things no one ever asked
before pulseaudio came along (legal things, but new nevertheless),
and it ain't working right.
as there is an apparent dearth of alsa working properly despite new demands,
how do we locate/talk to those that are working on it?
i am interested find out how/if we can work with the current situation
until the alsa is fixed up...
???
