I read this link on the poptop page,

and suggest that given the security lapses in MS pptp, you consider
openswan, an ipsec implementation for linux, instead.  It *is* packaged
for fedora 

yum install openswan openswan-doc

and has native clients for windows and Mac.

Or maybe the security flaws have been fixed in the MS implementation of
pptp now.  I didn't check that.
