I just installed F9 and am getting everything going again but I am
having problems with Evolution:

- it is receiving mail OK but mail going out sits in the Outbox forever

- The "Send/Receive" button is permanently greyed out

I had this problem too... I think it was related to another problem I
had with eth0 not coming up, but I'm not sure. Any way, evolution
decided to put itself in "offline" mode. I was able to fix it by using
the file menu ->work online.
