dmraid may allow you to make arrays visible on Windows, but will tie you
to that hardware (if the card fails you will likely need to replace it
with the exact same type of card).

The previous discussion indicated that this was just a cheap raid card.
So that unless you are dual booting with Windows or can't shut off the
raid feature in the bios, you want to use software raid.
