Is it really the same prior to running kyum?

  rpm -i http://livna-dl.reloumirrors.net/fedora/8/i386/livna-release-8-1.noarch.rpm

here installs a good livna.repo
Try

  rpm -V livna-repo

as kyum likely modifies the repo files.
